The password is: CHANGE
It is a very exciting time for MySLArt.org right now! We are bringing on our new Executive Director, April Morrison. She will oversee, promote, and curate the production of our 33 shows. I will be stepping down as Curator, and returning to my prior post as Art Installation Manager and Volunteer Coordinator. We are bringing in new members to our Board of Directors, and saying good bye to some who have served our organization well. We have added a few new volunteers as well, who are sprite and ready to bring their individual talents to our ranks. Times of change! I’m so excited for what all this will mean for us in the future!
I was curator for MySLArt.org for a year, and have been with the organization since January of 2013. I’m looking forward to having more time to paint again, but am so thankful for the experiences I’ve had. Being curator and a volunteer for Myslart has given me a great opportunity to meet so many friendly people: other artists, gallery owners, collectors, and the friends and family who support us creatives in our many artistic adventures.
I would like to say thank you especially to Nick Dunne, our President of the Board. Thank you to all our current volunteers, and the members on the Board of Directors. Thank you to our sponsors: locally owned Artmart, Shirt Kong, and Highway 61 Roadhouse. THANK YOU ALL, and I hope to see you on the 22nd as we welcome April to our family!
