The Missouri Professional Communicators presents "Tell It Like It Is," a talk by St. Louis American Editorial Director Chris King. The St. Louis American was founded in 1928 to give a voice to the black community that heretofore had been lacking. Today, this award-winning community newspaper serves its readers by providing news they can use and shining a light on important stories for the entire region. Editorial Director Chris King will talk about the paper's readership that continues to grow in its diversity as he highlights some of the issues the paper covered in 2017.
