Artists: You Need an Art Blog

Professional Artists Need to Blog

Blogging is one of the most effective tools available to your art business. Art blogs serve as consistent, ongoing marketing tools which increase in effectiveness over time. And blogging is within your budget because it's free.

If you are looking for effective examples of artist blogs, don't. There are few artists whoblog with a purpose. Instead, look to what cutting edge big business online does.

Here’s the deal.

It doesn't matter whether you are marketing your own art business, a car dealership or a major brand. What matters is that major companies are embracing relevant content by way of blogging, and by so doing they are changing the expectations of YOUR potential collectors.

It doesn't matter whether other artists are providing useful, interesting and engagingcontent through blogging because major companies are doing it. Therefore your collectors are now in the habit of using the Internet to find useful, relevant information. It doesn't matter whether other artists are sharing their great blog posts on social networking because the big companies are doing it, and as a result they are training consumers to know how to look for what interests them.

If no other artists are doing it, then great! You'll stand out among other artists.

Don't panic! We'll teach you to how to blog effectively.

Hello Sam, well it looks like you have been able to succeed with your own portfolio and artwork- great job! This is a class for artists who don't have much traffic on their website and even less e commerce. Happy to hear you are selling so much work!
