Art in the Afternoon – Pat Brokaw: A Printmaking Retrospective

Sat, June 30: 12 - 6pm thru Sat, Aug 4

Celebrated Missouri artist Patricia Brokaw will offer 30 pieces of original art at her first solo art show in over three years at Norton’s Fine Art and Framing. Brokaw has received national recognition as a master of the reduction block technique and she has exhibited her work on both coasts and across the Midwest. This show will be the largest exhibit of Pat Brokaw’s artwork to date, presenting a rare opportunity to view a broad selection of her original prints as well as select giclee reproductions from her portfolio. Two prints that received awards will be included in this event: “Never Summer,” (Best of Show, St. Louis Artists Guild Lay of the Land show) and “That Lazy Afternoon” (Sponsor’s Award, North American Print Biennial). Ten new original prints will be featured side by side with earlier pieces to provide the viewer a delightful overview of Patricia Brokaw’s career in fine art.

Meet Pat Brokaw during the Afternoon Opening, enjoy complementary wine and hors d’oeuvres as you watch a live demonstration of her craft, relief block printmaking.
