Visionaries: Print and Photographs from the Permanent Collection

Through an impressive and encompassing array of artwork, the Visionaries exhibition offers an opportunity to witness the development of the major art movements from around the world, each of which shaped the course of modern art from the early 1950’s to the present. Visionaries opens on Friday, March 6 with a 5 p.m. reception. (Free and open-to-the-public).

January 2015 Meet the Photographic Artist

Photographic Artist: Lori Peterson 

Lori got involved with MySLArt in the summer of 2013 and has shown at several of the 33 shows and has also helped by photographing some of the opening receptions. She has a dark and slightly twisted style that is just a lot of fun to look at. Her works can contain models, artist make-up, skulls, abandoned churches and WWII era gas masks. She is owner of Lori Peterson Photography in St Louis and a contributing writer for Digital Photography…

Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm Friday, 10:00 am–9:00 pm Closed Monday Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The Museum is open New Year's Day.


Admission to the Museum is free every day. Admission to featured exhibitions is free on Friday.
