Book on the Wall Project is in it's 8th Week at Soulard Coffee Garden

Hello there...up to #30 on the 18' x 18' canvas pages... having a good time..but at times hard to keep up....the authors keep writing I keep interpreting their words into graphics and thoughts... Always fun...thanks for looking ....Check out Soulard Coffee Garden Breakfast club.....

ZOO-BIRD-MAGIC-ANARY

Churchill Center and School, in Town and Country has completed an awesome sculpture called Zoo-Bird-magic-anary. Three days in May 19, 20 and 21 was like an art attack. On the first day the first groups brainstormed an idea, a not so typical birdcage, or as I call it Not-So-Ordinary-Sculpture. Ideas included flying pigs, pigeons, flamingos, flying fish, peacocks and birds that could be featured in this cage of freedom or a home for not-so-ordinary birds. Raw Canvas Project week 18

The Raw Canvas project at Soulard Coffee Garden is into it's 18th week.... each week a topic is put on the chalkboard in the bathroom...like the last one...Your favorite toy....hmmmmm well each week i interpret the words in a fun work of graphic arts......Exhibit is only 34 panels or weeks away.....so much fun......Thanks for watching...Rich

Book on the Wall Project is in it's 8th Week at Soulard Coffee Garden

I am taking comments about a new subject on the Bathroom Chalk Board and translating it to a collage of ideas. Each week the subject changes. Some are Frisky and Some are just about life. Visitors can respond to the question on the chalk board at random. The Work is done on a raw canvas, there will be 52 in the series with a show in January of 2010 of all the completed panels. This keeps me current and is keeping Soulard Coffee Garden a vibrant element of the Artistic Community in St. Louis.… Continue

Admission to the Museum is free every day. Admission to featured exhibitions is free on Friday.
