"Nice creations. Reminds me of red light districts in Korea where the women stood in the windows and solicited people off of the street. Somehow this makes it seem a little more elegant than that though."
If an artist/art student, my primary medium or mixed media is:
By day, I'm an English teacher.
However, by night (and by weekend, summer, and the occasional national holiday), I'm an artist, explorer, and historical architecture geek. Much of my artistic inspiration comes from the history of St. Louis and its surrounding communities. From nationally recognizable landmarks to decaying Route 66 motel signs, St. Louis has a history worth documenting and preserving.
I describe my current pieces as Danish modern plywood light boxes that illuminate translucent images of mid-century modern Americana.
