February 2015 Meet the Photographic Artist

January 2015 Meet the Photographic Artist

Photographic Artist: Lori Peterson 

Lori got involved with MySLArt in the summer of 2013 and has shown at several of the 33 shows and has also helped by photographing some of the opening receptions. She has a dark and slightly twisted style that is just a lot of fun to look at. Her works can contain models, artist make-up, skulls, abandoned churches and WWII era gas masks. December 2014 Meet the Photographic Artist

Our December artist is Tiffany Howard who is relatively new to MySLArt but has already shown in a couple of our 33 shows. Most of the work she has shared is macro photography. Her work stood out to me because of the  bold colors and lines which isn’t what you usually think of in macro. She won the Visitor’s Choice award sponsored by Shirt Kong at the 33 October show.

November 2014 Meet the Photographic Artist

Over the last couple of years I have helped out mostly behind the scenes and have enjoyed every minute of it. As MySLArt has grown and expanded so have some of our ideas. My plan is to start with an interview with a different MySLArt Photographer every month. Admission to the Museum is free every day. Admission to featured exhibitions is free on Friday.
