In my artwork I try to provide people with a pleasant moment in time, a small moment of happiness. In my earlier work I tried to wake people up, to jar them into seeing an ugly world that surrounded them or to see a great grand world that they should strive to achieve. What I found was people were aware of the world and they felt powerless to do anything, being reminded of this only made them sad and heartbroken. The great grand expressions only reminded them of how hard and difficult a journey I proposed for them to make, without giving them the tools to simply start the journey. I have stopped living in the past and stopped worrying about tomorrow. Life is in the present, in the current moment of time, what has been and what will be is the fading shadow of a dream. I exist for the present and that is what I try to present in my artwork.
