If an artist/art student, my primary medium or mixed media is:
Hi there! First off, I just want to thank you for visiting my portfolio. I am a fine art photographer studying photography and art therapy in university. My fine art work is more surreal, dreamlike imagery which has a lot of depth and reasoning behind it. I have always found it comforting to be able to have complete control over my environment, and with surrealism art, I can do just that. I always try to add my personal style to my client work as well. I think it is very important to be able to look at a photograph and be able to tell who shot it. I love both personal and client work just as much.
You may be asking yourself, "What does art therapy have to do with photography?" Well, let me tell you! It is my hope that I can someday create a non-profit organization that provides therapeutic photography sessions to colleges, high school campuses, and more. By doing this, I hope to not only open the doors for discussion, but to be able to diminish the negative stigma that surrounds mental health. Working with mental health is my passion, and I plan to do it through photography.
If there is anything that I haven't touched on that you would like to know, please feel free to reach out to me via the contact section of my portfolio and. I love talking with those who share the same passion as I do, or who are just simply interested in my work.
If you're an artist/art student, don't forget to add a brief artist's statement and photos of three of your art works to either your "comment wall" or "text box." This is your basic St. Louis Art Directory information. Later you may add images, videos, post a blog, and much more.
I am a fine art photographer that bridges the gap between what is harrowing and what is beautiful.
