Good Journey Development Foundation cordially invites you to the Opening Reception for Zulu Basket Weaving Artists Beauty Ngxongo and her daughter Thulile at the Exodus Gallery on Thursday, July 6, 2017  from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Beauty Ngxongo is an exceptional artist from KwaZulu Natal in South Africa and winner of the South African National Best Artist award.  Ngxongo passed down the tradition of Zulu basketry to her daughter Thulile Ngxongo at the age of 8.

When South African Beauty Ngxongo creates a basket, it is more than a beautiful work of art; it is an expression of the Zulu culture.
