I've been actively painting since I was 18, but I didn't consider entering shows and selling work until last year. The Soulard Art Gallery took on a couple of my smaller works for their "Driven to Abstraction" show last month, and this Friday I will have 3 of my newer paint babies presented at the Old Orchard Art Gallery in Webster Groves.

They say that "It takes courage just to enter." I appreciate these opportunities and think it takes a lot more oomph to keep painting and sharing work. If you're thinking about submitting to a show and are unsure, go for it!
